Toureen Group celebrates a decade of gold standards at RoSPA Health and Safety Awards

In recognition of obtaining the highest level of ratings for ten consecutive years, Toureen Group has been awarded the RoSPA President's Award.  This prestigious award, given at the 2018 Health and Safety Awards ceremony held in London's Excel Centre, acknowledges the Group's commitment to sustaining high levels of health and safety throughout the organisation.

Toureen Group has been recognised by RoSPA every year since 2008 due to our continual dedication to health and safety performance and management and for the steps we take to ensure that health and safety is central to everything we do.  Recent initiatives include employing an Occupational Health nurse to provide basic first aid and healthcare screening for all of our staff, as well as monitoring healthcare problems at work through risk assessment, education and training. The health, safety and wellbeing of our workforce and the wider community we work in remains our number one priority.

Health and Safety leadership has been achieved by investing significantly in staff development, training and a host of safety themed initiatives in order to develop a strong safety culture throughout the organisation.

The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards has become a key fixture in the health and safety calendar and offers organisations a prime opportunity to prove their ongoing commitment to raising health and safety standards. The RoSPA Awards scheme, now in its 62nd year, receives thousands of entries from organisations around the world and recognises achievement in health and safety, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
