Toureen Group celebrates win at CCS National Site Awards
The Considerate Constructors Scheme's National Site Awards recognise those sites registered with the scheme that have raised the bar for considerate construction.
Tilley & Barrett Demolition, a division of the Toureen Group, are thrilled to have received a Silver Award at this years’ Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards for the work displayed on our Grosvenor Street demolition project. The prestigious award was handed to the project team who worked tirelessly to meet the Considerate Constructors Schemes high standards in areas such as appearance, respecting and engaging with the local community, working to protect the environment, securing everyone’s safety at all times and valuing our workforce.
Eddie McDaid, Tilley & Barrett Operations Manager said: “It’s a great achievement for the project team to be recognised by the CCS for their continual efforts throughout the Grosvenor Street project. The team demonstrated the very highest level of consideration throughout the project duration in respect of the community, environment and workforce, earning our place at the 2019 National Site Awards.”
The CCS National Site Awards took place on April 11th in London, with the ceremony recognising the country’s most considerate construction sites for the contribution they have made towards improving the image of the construction industry.
The Grosvenor Street project was completed in August 2018 and involved the structural demolition of a logistically challenging building located in Mayfair, London.
